Homemade Nutella Recipe
I like programming (at work) and learning for fun. You'll often find me cooking and working on my house in my spare time.
I love chocolate hazelnut spread. Most people are familiar with Nutella. I find that homemade is tastier, cheaper, and healthier.

As I make it more, I'll update this article.
This first time I made it on 10/4/2026, I scaled up the recipe to use all 13 0z of hazelnuts I had on hand. I used
avocado oil
regular iodized salt
I didn't have enough powdered sugar so I made up the rest with granulated sugar
I didn't have semisweet chocolate on hand, just Aldi dark chocolate chips.
All in all, it was the best chocolate hazelnut spread I've ever had!
