The Assignment Meeting Squeeze
People will do anything to avoid a meeting.

Say you want someone to do a task for you: fill out a questionnaire, sign off on a document, etc. You can ask them, and they may get around to it.
Try this next time. Tell them what you need and set up a fallback meeting far enough in the future that they can reasonably complete the task. They may start working on it right away! If not, you’ll solve it in the meeting. Win-win.
